Empathyhands Homecare is seeking an experienced caregiver (CNA or HHA preferred) to provide in-home care services for a client in the Northridge and Canogo Park Areas. This position requires hands-on assistance with mobility and personal care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Transfers from wheelchair to bed using proper body mechanics
- Sponge baths and personal hygiene care
- Feeding assistance
- Assist our client with Dementia care, Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, range of motion exercises, and toileting.
- Provide him with companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Support clients with mobility assistance
- Medication reminder and monitor health conditions. inc
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
- Fall prevention and follow safety protocols.
- Ensuring client safety at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in home care required
- CNA or HHA certification preferred
- Experience with safe transfers and mobility assistance
- Ability to lift and assist using proper transfer techniques
- Reliable, professional, and compassionate
- Ability to work consistent day, afternoon evening shifts
Schedule:
Sunday through Saturday
1:00 PM – 5 :00 PM and 10 am to 6 pm
1:00 PM – 5 :00 PM and 10 am to 6 pm
- Competitive pay: $20–$23 per hour (based on experience)
